Fidexa provides software tools for organizing financial records, mileage logs, and estimated tax-related information.

Fidexa does NOT provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

Any tax estimates, deductions, or calculations generated by the app are for informational and illustrative purposes only.

Users are solely responsible for:

• verifying financial records
• ensuring compliance with tax laws
• consulting qualified professionals such as CPAs or tax advisors when necessary

Fidexa is not responsible for:

• tax penalties
• incorrect filings
• audits
• financial losses
• legal consequences

resulting from the use of the app.

3. AI-Assisted Features Disclaimer

Certain features of Fidexa may use artificial intelligence (AI) to assist with:

• transaction categorization
• receipt text extraction
• voice input interpretation
• financial data structuring

AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate.

Users are responsible for reviewing and confirming all AI-generated data before relying on it for financial or tax purposes.

Fidexa makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated results.

4. Financial Data & Plaid Connect

Fidexa uses Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to securely gather your data from your financial institutions. By using our application to connect your bank, you grant Fidexa and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes.

You are prohibited from using Fidexa for:

• fraudulent activities
• tax evasion
• money laundering
• identity theft
• uploading malicious content
• attempting unauthorized system access

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and device access.

We recommend enabling device-level security features such as:

• Face ID
• Touch ID
• device passcode

You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features of Fidexa may require a paid subscription.

Subscription terms:

• billing occurs in advance on a recurring basis
• subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems
• pricing may change with prior notice where required by law

Users may manage or cancel subscriptions through their device account settings.

Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store provider.

8. Data Accuracy

Fidexa depends on user-provided information and third-party services.

We do not guarantee that:

• mileage calculations are error-free
• AI interpretations are perfectly accurate
• financial summaries are complete

Users are responsible for reviewing exported reports before submitting financial or tax documents.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The app may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• maintenance

• server issues
• third-party service interruptions

We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fidexa and its developers shall not be liable for:

• indirect damages
• incidental damages

• tax penalties
• audit outcomes
• business interruption

resulting from the use or inability to use the application.

Use of the app is at your own risk.

11. Modifications to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be indicated by revising the "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
